Bellatrix Black was just calming down after a scuffle with some young Gryffinors in the corridor above. She won it expertly. Unlucky Dumbledore was comign around the corner to save them Filthily blood traitors. She thought grudgingly. She had turned around and stomped out of the situation. No points from Slytherin. Fool.
She was currently heading down the hill to go to the Great Lake. It was a path well walked by many students during the day. There was still rage in her. She was walking quite fast, faster then she needed to. Her black hair fell towards her back and her eyes glinted in the upcoming darkness. The sun was just setting.
She then reached the lake. She kicked a few stones into it, causing the water to ripple. She twirled her wand around in her hands and then sat down on the lake side. She sighed relieving some exhaustion from herself.
She started thinking. Thinking about many things... Tom Riddle for one. Never before had she met someone to smart, ambitious and handsome. Her heart, as cold as it seemed, melted at any sight of him.

The Great Hall was now empty but for one person; Tom Riddle. He sat at the Slytherin table in silence. Once everyone else left the Great Hall, it seemed that it was the only place to be alone. The castle was even more full than it had been before. Dumbledore's Pensieve had broke and everything seemed to have turned into chaos. According to Dumbledore, who looked much different than the last time Tom had seen him, he was in the '90s, yet he knew nothing past late '44. No wonder the castle was currently a mess.
Getting quite bored with staring a hole in the stone wall behind the staff table, Tom stood and exited the hall. Glancing into the rest of the castle, then outside its walls, he decided on taking a stroll toward the lake. That seemed to be, at least a little, less packed. Maybe he would find someone else he actually knew.
Reaching the lake, he looked up and down the shore. His blue eyes carefully scanned over each and every person around him. No one he even remotely recognized, no one... A girl around his age caught his eye. She resembled someone he knew, though he was positive he didn't actually know her. Sighing, he decided on going to find out more about her. If nothing else, she was another Slytherin.
Stopping a few feet away, he lowered himself to the ground. "Good evening," he said, plastering on one of his signature charming smiles. He watched her for a second, before looking away and staring out across the lake instead.

"Good evening,"
Bellatrix's heart skipped a beat. She couldn't believe her eyes. It was Tom... Or who she thought was Tom. He was always addressed as Mr. Riddle in class. She let her black eyes examine him. She then after confirming his presence, and to assure herself she wasn't dreaming, replied.
"As to you," She always had good nerves under pressure. She blushed at his smile. She got to her feet out of respect. She then ripped her eyes from him, and matched his expression, by looking across the lake.
As for what she was wearing, as I forgot to address, is a black corseted styled top, and a nice matching black skirt. Typical wear for her.

At her words, he silently nodded, flashing another of his smiles. He noticed the slight blush on her cheeks, but said nothing. He was quite used to that reaction out of the girls around him. The charming smile never failed to work.
Not exactly the most talkative person, Tom let the silence go on. His gaze remained facing forward, pretending to study the lightly rippling water, though he continuously shot an occasional glance over at the girl beside him. She looked so familiar. He racked his brains for her name from classes. Black. Black... her first name didn't come to him, but another thought did. Cygnus, that's who she looks like. Cygnus Black..
"You're related to Cygnus Black, aren't you?" he asked, turning his blue gaze on her again. He studied her features. She had to be closely related to Cygnus. He gave a soft laugh, before adding, "I'm Tom, by the way, Tom Riddle."

It was becoming darker now... It was almost twilight. The wind was starting up again, and in England it never died. It was only lightly light out about this time, but Bellatrix expected a storm to come in over night. She had good senses for things like that. Bellatrix could feel the lumps of rock on the beach through her shoes. They were quite annoying actually.
Bellatrix sat there in silence. She let herself look upon him only when she was sure he wasn't looking upon her. He looked strong, and ambitious... His brown hair and his eyes! She could get lost for all eternity in them.
Bellatrix didn't jump as his voice broke the silence they both created.
"You're related to Cygnus Black, aren't you?"
Bellatrix looked up at Tom and smiled. He was sharp. She liked that about him. So very sharp, to catch on to something like that. "Yes," She told him, "He is my wonderful father." She let her eyes upon him once more, wondering if his expression would change. Then she heard the next statement...
"I'm Tom, by the way, Tom Riddle."
"I know," Bellatrix started, "There isn't many girls who don't," she smiled, "But never-the-less it is good to meet you, Tom," Bellatrix gave a little polite bow, as was family courtesy. Bellatrix blushed lightly again as she told him this.
Like he didn't already know this, Bellatrix! Stop wasting his time! It's much more valuable than yours! Bellatrix fought with herself. Stop being stupid! Calming her mind down, she then said, "I'm Bellatrix Black. But I'm mostly called Bella for short."
